1. Why participate in this survey?
The survey asks about your views on important issues in Germany today, focusing on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its impact on people's lives. What are your views and experiences on the current situation and where do you get information about it? This study is seeking answers to these questions and wants to make sure your voice is heard. It is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and carried out by the Institute for Psychology at Sigmund Freud University Berlin (SFU). Questions about the purposes of this survey and use of the data collected can be directed to axel.pfleger@sfu-berlin.de. The company hosting this survey on behalf of the Institute for Psychology at SFU is Qualia Analytics. 2. Why should I participate?
Your views will help to guide the future work of the German government and local authorities on managing the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As a ‘Thank You’ for participating, you will be given the opportunity to be entered into a prize draw for one of fifteen €150 gift vouchers on completion of this survey.
The main part of the survey takes about 20-25 minutes and an optional second part about 8-10 minutes to complete. Upon completion of this survey, we will ask you whether you would like to participate in follow-up research.
Following your consent, your personal information will remain strictly confidential and will only be used for the purposes of this research project. Your personal information will never be shared with any third parties (including Government agencies). After your data are fully anonymised, they may be published and will be used for research reports and publications.
